脱炭素とはなにか

ワイルドで砂まみれなカルチャー・イベント｢バーニングマン｣は、毎年、夏の終わりにネバダ州の砂漠で開催される。1986年にサンフランシスコで始まって以来、夏の大きなカルチャーイベントとなった。
1990年、開催場所がブラックロック砂漠に移って以来、参加者は飛躍的に増え、2017年のバーニングマンには約7万人が参加した。8月26日（現地時間）に始まった2018年のバーニングマンも同じくらいの人数が集まると見られている。
このイベントはそのパーティー・カルチャーが評判になっているが、バーニングマンの見どころの1つは、会場のあちらこちらに作られる素晴らしいアート作品の数々。
制作者たちは数カ月、あるいは数年をデザイン、準備、プロジェクトの資金集めに費やした。精巧な寺院、巨大な構造物、輝くドーム……、さまざまな作品が目を楽しませてくれる。
